7. Listen to the Movement
When you are looking at a luxury watch, listen to it. A genuine watch will not tick or make any other sound. The watch mechanisms have been assembled carefully so that no noise is made. Fakes will not be made to this high standard, and so will make noise or tick.
You should also check what the movement looks like. In authentic watches, this will be smooth and gliding, whereas a fake will have a rougher movement.

D DutchTHHello, I would like to buy my first (Hopefully of many) TagHeuer. A local has put his watch on the market, beacause he has slightly worn in and he prefers other watches. I’m at a relatively young age and do not know everything about authenticy yet. Before I go to the seller and think about buying this watch, I want to ask you more experienced TH owners if this is a real TagHeuer. Thanks for responding 🙏
M mihailoHi. I’m looking one aquaracer WBD1110.BA0928
I open the watch and inside iz gold Ronda 6003 i think. On watchbase it says that Unspecified Quartz. I saw few pictures on internet that in some thay put this mechanism and in some they put 5040 i think. Im confused now. Anyone have experience with this
