Sorry I can't keep up on this but that lume pip is right isn't it? Looks like a little circle of metal around it...

Nope, on these non ceramic insert WAY models it is not supposed to be a circle around the lume. From what I've read and seen, it should look like this:

I saw many others online that appear to have a round pip on them
True, but that doesnt mean all of those are real right. Lume pip is the most common giveaway for fake Aquaracers. Anyway, you will never know for sure until Switzerland HQ has confirmed authenticity for you.

Sending the watch to tag is going to be a long process. I went ahead and sent a long email to watchfinder detailing my concern I’ll keep you guys posted on the outcome.

I've been told that free authentication by TAG themselves is smooth and doesn't take very long. Not like sending for service.

I almost sent out my F1 last year. TAG quoted me 6+ weeks, and I live an hour and a half from the service center. I was going to send it anyway, but I felt confident enough in Jamesbizs’s knowledge of these models to rule out the possibility of it being fake. But this is a different scenario. I’m sure Watchfinder will request official proof from the manufacturer.

Just spoke to someone on the phone at watchfinder they offered a return but then stated that they were going to reach out to the head authenticator in the UK about my concerns. They are going to reach back out to me with an explanation of my concerns. They also have certified tag heuer watchmakers on staff who will look into this.

If they say it's not fake and you aren't happy then sending it to TAG is your course of action. But then if TAG say it's real then it is. No matter what anyone says. They are the ultimate judge.

Could always just return it for a full refund lol

It would be amazing if WF comes back in writing claiming it is authentic and TAG rejects it as fake. If there was any independent actual watch journalists in the world such story would be quite the scoop to write about

Yea I was doubtful but I’m almost sure this watch is real still going to go through with this process though

They do have quite the rigorous testing on authenticity though which I found out after talking to the company. It would be very hard for a watch to slip though their company that is counterfeit. I mean it goes through 5 people who inspect inside and out before moving on.

@Aquagraph can let us know when WF lists it for sale again. Then @jamesbizs can buy it in the name of counterfit science
