Looks fake to me. once again, the bracelet is encased in plastic to protect the soft metal links. The overall blue bezel/face color is dull and lifeless trending toward grey; on a real Tag, that blue color just pops.

Hi guys
The serial number & warranty code matches the description on Tag heuer website, but the font on warranty card makes doubt. I have seen the letter should be bold but in this case the letters are thin.
Kindly help me is this fake watch or authentic.
That is 100% fake watch.
Hang tag is all wrong as it is like the replicas, lume pip looks fake too. Also plastic wrap say fake.

Hi guys,

could you please help me checking this watch? Bought on eBay but I have a hunch that it could be fake, serial number and warranty code match on Tag website. But the pdf with the Chinese name in the picture sent me by the seller worries me

can add more photos when it will be delivered

thanks everyone
Take out a pin and barrel and we can tell right away.

Those belong to a fake bracelet for sure. Zero doubt.

Try giving a professional dealer at chrono24 a try next. Several of them have this model.

I am looking for help to check a TAG Link watch I bought new from a jewelers in Adelaide in 2003. However I cannot find a means to authenticate it which I am sure I will need as I am about to sell it. I cannot locate the purchase bill. It is a WT1110 with black face and a serial number of UF4094. Any help appreciated.

So, 20 years ago, fake TAGs were not as difficult to spot as they are today. If you sell it, I doubt that you'd have much trouble if you didn't have a proper authentication. Unless it's for your own peace of mind but if you bought it new from a jewellers then you shouldn't have much to worry about. Or you can always post pics on this thread if you want an opinion: https://tagheuerforums.com/threads/is-my-tag-heuer-authentic-all-questions-here-please.33008/

you will not need a means to authenticate if you're about to sell it. No one cares. Anyone buying a WT1110, knows what they are buying. If your watch is fake, no one will buy it at anything close to the right price.

No one should be buying a tag heuer watch on ebay during christmas. Period. Give me 10 minutes, and I can link you to at LEAST 100 sellers currently selling fake tags. They are going all out right now, trying to get as many out as possible. This is the best time to do it. Because people are buying gifts. Which means no one is going to look too closely at these watches, for at least a whole month. So these sellers are not even bothering with good accounts anymore. They are just opening as many accounts as possible.

Please tell me you didn't ship the watch back. Also, would you sell it to me? I don't have one of those models yet. And I don't have the liquid capital right now to mess around with the ebay sellers.

Anyone?
To be honest I am not sure we have active members with experience of this particular reference. It might take some time to get confirmation. If you have concerns or dont trust the seller from whom you bought it, my recommendation is to send it to TAG Heuer for authentication. I think you can have a boutique or authorised dealer send it for you.

Yup we know. But for anyone to be able to tell for sure I am thinking they would need to have handled and preferably owned one themselves and I dont think any of the active members own one. But I could be wrong.
