I told the guy about his watch. Even said I thought it was cool. And he went completely bat shit crazy on me. Said I was delusional and that I was attacking him. Just a complete psychopath.

Oh lord, the world is full of idiots. Does look pretty cool I grant you!

what do you guys think of this movement? I thought that in Autavia it was black movement inside, but here it looks like an ordinary caliber 5

Not sure if y'all can see the link but I ended up ordering another. Third time is a charm! 😀 Really wish I was into watches back in 2018. I would have just bought one from an AD and been done with it.

I got quotation of work from TAG so that means my piece is in fact, genuine! Took three weeks to get the quote, and it will take another three to get it back but I'm thrilled. 😀

Glad to hear, understand you're excited to get it back. With a new service you'll know that she is water proof and ready to get wet. Make sure to post some photos in the Aquaracer thread

But you got a quotation from me! Why wasn't that enough! What does tag heuer have that I don't! I mean, besides equipment to test the actual content of the metal....

lol. Congrats.

I'm seeing no issues. I don't know too much about Carreras, BUT I haven't seen a single fake one with a correct bracelet, and yours has one. Serial number check doesn't matter. If anything, it's better that it didn't work.

How's that better?

Because the fakers tend to now use REAL numbers connected to watches that are warrantied. And when people see that, they instantly believe their watch is real.

I suppose such serials would be somehow flagged by TAG, and maybe even removed from the database. And my number doesn't give any results so.. ‍
I've emailed TAG regarding this, excited to hear the result.

Hello all,
I bought this watch 1 month ago from Chrono24, but I don't know why but I'm asking tonight if my watch could be a fake or not
The thing that totally blew my mind is that I didn't find it on the tag warranty page so I'm a bit scary. Could you help me please?
Thanks all for your amazing work!
have a nice evening

There is no results for tag heuer to tell you. Your watch wasn't bought from a dealer and it wasn't registered on ebay's website. And I doubt they flag anything, as they'd not only have to know about it, they'd have to care, and I also doubt they'd just erase the original buyers warranty because the serial number was stolen by others.

Ebay?
sorry, I've been on the phone with them for 3 hours today. Clearly I have ebay on the brain. I meant tag heuer.

At least they'll know why the serial nor the status number isn't searchable. We'll see.

Like I said, it's not searchable because it wouldn't have been put into the system unless it was bought from a dealer and had warranty activated. That's the only thing searchable means.

Tell me, please, guys, what does this "Draft" mean? And why is this particular model on Chrono24 already sold several times, with exactly this mark, but I have never seen it on other models

Those "draft" marked renders are used in the yearly preview catalogues sent to TAG boutiques and dealers showing the new upcoming releases for each upcoming year. Sometimes the draft renders change once the actual release goes live. Interesting and weird that they use these draft renders when presenting a warranty search.
