Only wanted it to be true, guessing the $1,200 asking price makes it even more egregious then 馃ぎ

Better they all point in different directions than all point the same except one...

What you trying to say? You don't think AP will make those screws perfectly symmetrical for 拢26000? 馃槖
And anyway, aren't those 'screws' actually nuts that sit in hexagonal holes so can't be wrong?

Well yes, it's pretty ridiculous. Worse than faux rivets on a bracelet 馃榾

But you seem to have moved this discussion into the Is My TAG Heuer Authentic thread somehow 馃榾

Hi Rob, this Hublot looks authentic to me, you should feel safe buying it. Great choice man.

Looks okay to me. Unlikely to be good fakes of an old model like that.
yeah, they really didn't do anything good when it came to those models. No point I guess.

Perfection!
oh that feels so good. I think people like the idea of the randomness. But no, not I. Don't you dare give me a screw, and tell me I cant straighten it.

I posted this on WUS but perhaps I'll get a different set of eyes here.
I realize it's only one photo but can anyone offer an opinion on this Ebay watch? Seller has the usual generic product pics but this is of the actual watch. Listed for $899 and seller has 100% feedback on 200 sales. I have contacted him and he provided me with the serial number which shows up on the TAG site but I found out with my last Chrono24 purchase that this means nothing. Thanks in advance!

Hello all. I鈥檇 love some advice/opinions here. I purchased this Tag Heuer Aquaracer (CAY111A) from a seller on eBay. He has a 99% rating with almost 5k ratings, and appears to mostly sell high end watches, parts, warranty cards, and manual booklets. The watch itself looks great and unworn (though - in taking these pictures the flash shows some scratches that can鈥檛 be seen otherwise - polished maybe?). The issue/cause for concern is the warranty card and the listing title. He listed this watch as a 2022 Tag Heuer, yet the serial number came back warranty activated in 2017 (and the serial number on the warranty card has a typo). When asked about this (and I called out the serial check), he just noted that the Watch was from 2022 and kind of ignored the question about the 2017 date. He seems highly rated, so I鈥檓 trying to see if I鈥檓 overthinking this. Of course, when I go to sell this watch at some point, I will have issues with the warranty card date not matching the online checker. I鈥檓 also concerned that the Watch itself is a counterfeit, as I鈥檓 definitely not an expert. I鈥檝e noticed that the two Chronograph buttons are somewhat odd, with the top one being more springy and the bottom one being a bit more mushy, but with a much louder and tactile click. I truly appreciate any advice here!

Hi there. Any chance anyone could lend some expertise here? I don鈥檛 want to wait too long on this watch, as I鈥檓 sure I only have so much time to claim it鈥檚 not as described (if fake/cause for concern).

Hello car guy, main rule is to never buy Aquaracer from Ebay. My guess is that 95% of the listings are common models normally faked a lot.

I am not expert in this model but an obvious tell is the lume pip on yours? To me it looks like a bad fake, when compring to photos of the real deal.

Look at this video and you will see what a genuine one should look like, in your photos your lume pip looks very different from a genuine one in this video

Then compare to this video below, posted by this known criminal asshole often posting many videos of fake TAG Heuer watches. The only good thing is that he shows what these commonly faked models often look like when they aren't genuine. This fake version's lumepip looks a lot more like yours
