This is EXACTLY what I want to do. I messaged the seller twice asking if it was genuine and he insists that it is.

You should follow the advice of James. Get a refund and dont return the watch.

@jamesbizs please guide this gentleman in how to make life miserable for the criminal who sold the watch

It's not. If this is eBay, then you just need to raise an issue or return on the product. If eBay need to get involved, then you may need to provide proof. Maybe Jamesbiz can help advise you here.

I'd raise the return with eBay now if you can, though. If it won't let you return, then raise it under "resolve a problem".

I knew this was too good to be true when I bought this, but had faith that eBay would help me out. I will say that the quality of this Aquaracer is excellent, however, the serial number is from a different watch, the movement is Ronda 6003.D when I believe it is supposed to be ETA caliber F06.111, the dial is a matte black, not sunray, the lume dot appears to be poured, not applied. Lastly, the seller is very sketchy. He sold 5 of these, and 5 each of two other TAGs, all new without box or papers. Only feedback history is from a handful of purchases a few months ago. Anyway, what is my process for reporting him and getting a refund?

That's the same seller that has been at it for the past 2 years, with 100's of accounts. Open a return for not authentic. Send him whatever the hell you want. I've sent a bag of dirt. get your money back. Report him to ebay. No proof of any kind required.

Return has been requested, though the seller "does not accept returns." We'll see how this goes. I can't find a place to report the seller simultaneously, but I'm going to keep looking. I love the idea of sending him a bag of dirt.
Edit: Reported seller to eBay.

I really hope you opened it for ' doesn't seem authentic". Because seller can NOT refuse the return and can not refuse a refund no matter what.

I did! Then I separately reported the seller. Thanks for the advice. Haven’t heard anything back yet.

Hello. I'm a new member of the forum. Thank you for accepting me. I would like to know if someone can confirm if this watch is authentic? A customer is trying to pay me for a job with it and I told him that I needed to verify if it is authentic.

Jeez, look at the TAG Heuer engraving on that horrible tin clasp. This is about as bad as fakes get!

you probably won't hear anything back. Just wait. I promise you you won't lose any money in this. 100% guarantee, or your money back 😁. But yeah, just wait it out. They won't respond, and ebay will step in and either force the return, or refund you, depending on what they do with the seller. but do NOT send back the watch, or they will just sell it to someone else that won't know better.

it's a very bad fake, but no reason no to repair it. it's not trying to be a specific model or copy. Just a normal watch with a tag logo.

He actually replied last night, and he is sticking to his guns that it is authentic. I'm not going to respond to him anymore.

josmi-1849 sent you a message about your request:

It has Ronda on this model. Ask some one else. This is not equipped with ETA movement. You are looking for a higher class model, not this WAY101A

To reply now, see the request details.

If you haven't agreed on a solution by May 12, 2021, you can ask us to step in and help. If you and your seller need more time to work things out, your request will stay open until Jun 10, 2021.

He is not wrong. This is the ronda movement for this model. Not that that changes anything. But they love to bring it up like it matters. neither movement is proprietary tag heuer. The fakes use REAL movements, because they are very cheap movements to begin with. But everything else about the watch IS fake.

Yes and no. Depends on the year. Tag heuer doesn't even care enough about these movements, to mention it on their website. Just listed as "quartz". I honestly couldn't tell you with 100% certainty, as I'm a little less out of the market lately. But no matter what, the watches this guy sells are fake. Period. He will be suspended soon. I used to go after these sellers all the time, but they keep popping back up, and it became too much of a time sink. I can send the account to ebay right now and they will delete him if I want.

How does this one look ??
There was only 50 minutes left when I saw it yesterday and it went for £311 but has been relisted.
I couldn't see any standout fails but I'm no expert
