Not one I recognize and it certainly didn't come in that 90s box!

Scam Alert!

Be very careful with these sellers from Bulgaria: different bulgarian cities and different user names, but it’s all the same fraud:

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.es/ulk/itm/402186008676

The Autavia Heuer 02 shown in the pictures is genuine, but this ebay auction (it ends in 8h) is a fraud. Some months ago they did the same.

They only accept bank transfer, so when you send the money, you never receive any watch, and there’s no way to ask ebay for it (you are protected only if you pay by paypal). Then the seller disappears (the account is closed), and some time later it appears with a new account/user name to scam again

I informed ebay, but the auction is still there 🤔
This seller is a thief. Be careful!

What did you say to Ebay as I keep reporting jimfig007 and goldenp_82 and their fake Hydroconquests but it's rare if anything happens ??

It cant be coincidence that when you look at these sellers 100% positive feedback as sellers and then look at their buying feedback, dodgy sellers from Hongkong are always involved.

Yes, this bulgarian thief has always 100% positive feedback in his accounts (but with very few votes) only as buyer (not as seller, he doesn’t have feedback as a seller), and this feedback is just for buying really cheap things. It’s a fast and cheap way to put a “100% positive feedback” label to the account created for the new scam

Yeah I did notice he first registered this year and his 5 positive feedbacks are all as a buyer.
Thief is the right word, Albert👍

Take a look at the end link number.... It's upside down....

This rarely happens, but sometimes it does, and is one of the easiest tells for THIS model.
Thanks for this. Only seeing it now.
I've sent the watch back to the seller who still claims it's real yet tried to haggle with me about keeping it and even got down to less than half the price I paid for it. Then I've to return it to a different country.
Hopefully I get my money back as it's in Escrow but I've a feeling he's going to pull some shit and say I damaged the watch. I'm not hopeful

The replica sellers usually uses pictures from original ones.
The seller who sold me mine, watchcompany-1, later worldofj62 and other titles used exactly the same pics and wording as the seller in Austria, goldenp_82 (and other titles) including pics of the movement, which they no longer use

So, I just purchased but have not paid for a watch from a seller who also has this quartz Tag for sale. I did a quick search and the dial looks wrong. Any thoughts?

I don't know enough about Tags but the Hydroconquests he sells are 101% fake.
jamesbiz has shut the seller down in his various guises.
Stay away I would say.👍

Another seller of fake Hydroconquests is watchgallery1999
All these sellers have 100% positive feedback but as buyers they all buy from dodgy sellers from Hongkong who have 100's of negative feedback.
I know this is a Tag Heuer forum but if these sellers sell any fake watches, then surely the Tags they sell are at best, Iffy.

The triangle on the bezel should be gold, although that could have worn off. The dial looks right to me compared to this pic but if you know the guy is dodgy, don't buy it anyway.

Oh great more fake 1000s.

Never buy Aquaracers or 1000 from eBay.

Never buy a watch from Ebay or maybe not one more expensive than the price of postage.

I've bought plenty, you just need to be careful and avoid popular models. Nobody is faking 3000 Series for example...

The Fake Aquaracers are hard to spot but no-one, as far as I know has faked the F1 model WAC111A that I have.
The Hydroconquests that are driving me up the wall have obvious tells unlike lots of others, Omegas and Rolex for instance.
