Here is a photo of pin and tube from the bracelet.

Will take better photo of lume dot when I get it back from the service centre.
Can you measure the 2 holes in the respective bezels to see what inside diameter they are and if there's a difference?

So what do I do?

I can鈥檛 go after the seller if the Tag service centre are stating the watch is genuine....

me too, local authorities told me I need TH's receipt that the product is a rep before they could make a case against these sellers, however even after pointing out the external differences, they claim the watch is authentic

The holes would be the same, and I don't really have anything precise enough to measure that. We'd be talking like .01mm or something. It's the dot inside that matters. It's supposed to be a clear flat glass like cover, over the lume. Edge to edge. The fakes just have a bubble of lume.

Yeah there really is no point of making a case against these sellers. They have sold probably millions of dollars by now. No one really gives a shit.

Also, when you say " they claim". Who is they? The seller?

I just tried measuring mine but the pip is near the surface so couldn't measure inside.
I'd have thought the holes would have a tolerance of a few microns or so.Dont know about the lumes though.

Doesn't it seem odd to anyone else that if the pip is such a dead giveaway that TAG wouldn't notice this themselves? When I asked about their verification process they told me about metallurgy tests - which in this instance sounds a bit like carbon dating a plastic cup...

If you held a real one and a fake one side by side, you'd see instantly that one is fake. The fact that TH themselves claim that watch is real, blows my damn mind. Even the fake pin and tubes should be an easy dead give away. I lost any respect I had left for them, after that other situation. At least that was a very old watch. This is just unbelievable. Hell, look at that other watch, that has the end link number upside down.... There are so many ways for a competent person to determine these are fake, especially if you handle them all day every day, the way TH would. I really don't understand lol

Please stop communicating with him. I can almost guarantee you he is the same seller that has ripped off 100's of others. He ripped you off, and he knows what he is doing. And like the 150 other accounts I've dealt with, he also needs to be sent to ebay to be dealt with before he rips off more people. Open a return. Get your money back. There is no reason to talk to him, and you don't need any kind of proof either. You're fully in your right to open the case. The watch is 100% fake, no question about it.

I've dealt with some many of these before. They have silver tongues and try and convince you that not only are they telling the truth, but even if it happens to be fake, it's not THEIR fault for it. So people feel bad for them.

If it wasn't for this forum, I would have just assumed my watch was genuine especially after TAG Heuer had confirmed the watch was genuine.

Here our a few more active listings for the seller who sold me my watch:
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BRAND-N...Numbered-Limited-Edition-WAY218B/184197049139

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BRAND-N...694658?hash=item46ab4d83c2:g:goAAAOSwcIpeeFnc

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Tag-Heu...112452?hash=item46ab355f44:g:TcoAAOSwCXBeL8pX

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BRAND-N...852332?hash=item46a7dae92c:g:lAgAAOSwgm5d9u7y

Ultimately I am not going to get a refund unless it is proven the watch is not genuine. The seller is adamant the watches are genuine which is supported by the response from Tag Service Centre.

Can anyone pick anything with these listings to either confirm genuine or fake?

At this stage I cannot enjoy my watch with the thought that it is a fake and am really just wishing I purchased from an authorised dealer in the first place.
