some great photos. Good read even if a little OTT gushing. They’re not wrong though about designs though. Both treatments to Jack Heuer’s classic design.

Only wish is now that they’d release a bracelet 😜
According to the author you own the perfect 2 watch collection 😎👍 except the owing bracelet 😉

I really like this watch and am glad to see the positive reviews coming out for these two. These were the watches I was hoping they would release. I think it’s a home run for Tag Heuer. Hopefully due to this we will see more editions in the future. They have so many cool designs to pull from their past.

The only drawback for watch to me is the noisy winding of the rotor. I did not notice it when I checked out an 85th Anniversary Autavia. Maybe that was due to closed case back. Either way I love the design. I find the size and look brings the vintage aesthetic without the trappings of a vintage watch. Column wheel, vertical clutch, 80hrs power reserve and 100 meters water resistance are great pluses for me. I haven’t found a strap that doesn’t look good and a Fostner flat link is filling the bracelet option when I need it.

Maybe the sapphire caseback, the smaller size of the case and different rotor-desing are causing the 'noisy' winding.
For me the sound and feel of the rotor is nothing but cool. I really like to be reminded of the watch on my wrist and the mechanics inside.

Don’t get me wrong its a great adult fidget spinner, Throughout the day I find myself giving it a whirl. I like the feeling. This just may be a turn off for some looking at watches with this movement and at this price point.

....too, not 'to' you idiot.

You are correct, but consider that English may not be the poster's first language.

For a very nice design and watch package, if you don’t want to spend, you’ll definitely look and find faults. That’s how you reason it out to yourself 😵‍💫

How can it be not in proportion? Your angle plays tricks on you. 🤨

True, that wasn't really the point I was making though.... it was a double joke which I can't be bothered to explain because it won't be funny.

Plenty of English people can't spell either. Or use apostrophe's...

Ooh there I go again, I just can't help myself can I?
😗

Mind you, what with Google and Microsoft telling me I've spelled words incorrectly when I haven't, it's not surprising people are confused.

@Aquagraph on the bright side. It was the lugs he/she picked on. Glassbox must have been a winner in “they’re” eyes 😜

Clearly nobody told Jose and Danny that out of proportion lugs are a defining characteristic of the Carrera!

So I showed my wife some watches last night, she said this watch was okay, but it needed some orange on it or something.
