So 2020 is the 160th Anniversary of the 'Heuer Watch Co', what do we expect by way of celebrations? I'm guessing a Carrera, another Carrera and some more Carreras.... But I'm hopeful we might see a 35th Anniversary 'TAG Heuer' Formula 1. Nah, just kidding.... that's not going to happen, but it will be 35 years of the F1 next year. Just sayin'.
Sorry I have not seen star trek... or is it called space wars, I can never remember those kids stuff on tv
I would like to see something 'classic' from TAG Heuer, but I doubt it... it doesn't really fit the brand image, also it would require a bespoke case and everything else, so it would be prohibitive.
Suspenseful. Do you know something again, that most of us don't know? Would you advice Heuer fans with a somewhat smaller wallet to hold back in watch investments until the official announcements?
By curious coincidence, I happen to be reading a QP magazine from 2010, which heralded the launch of the 150 Anniversary pieces... 2 x Silverstones (1860 pieces each) and a box set containing an orange Grand Carrera Chrono and a Meredist mobile phone! One would assume the 160th Anniversary would be 'less' of a big deal than the 150th... and presumably the 170th doesn't really get celebrated and it's held over for 175 years...? Except Omega who celebrate EVERYTHING obviously! View attachment 906260
