I love perforated rally straps too. But I need something that's more of a dress watch and if I get this watch I might just keep it on the croc strap. BTW, what's the lug width on the Telemeter? 20mm?

19mm

First thing I'm gonna do is put it on a brown strap that currently doesn't quite match the watch it's on. Same idea; it'll be a bit dressy but still have a sporty edge.

Thanks. I had hoped it was 20mm, there are less options for 19mm straps.

Yes, as @abrod520 said, I believe it's 19mm.

Plenty of good customization options between $75-$100. I can recommend you a bunch if you like

Any sources for a no-stitch strap? Like the one on the C11 Siffert. That’s my favorite strap ever. I only found 1 custom leather good shop in France that looks as good.

Do we know the strap number yet?
Yes, it’s FC6479. 19mm Black alligator strap and polished stainless-steel folding clasp with double safety push-buttons

I personally like this 160th. Although my CH02 seems to have an issue in the accuracy of time 👎😗 my only issue / apprehension. My calibre16 never skipped a beat! And it’s more than 10 years already 👍 design wise it’s a go for me! I hope my wallet can accommodate 😜 haha

When I saw the first pictures, I thought I'd definitely have to buy it. Seeing more and more photos, I still think it is remarkably beautiful – for a modern watch. But considering the fact that a similar amount of money will buy another vintage Carrera, which is still a tad nicer (and thinner and lighter); I will rather wait until I can see one in the flesh. Maybe they will be sold out by then, but hey, there are still so many vintage Carreras out there ;-)

1860 is a pretty good number. I think anybody that wants one, should be able to get one this year.

20mm strap and a wee trim with a modelling knife?

I hope that the larger number also demotivates those flippers from trying to snatch these up when released in June. I actually like that TH is not offering these for sale until later this year. It gives me time to save up and also plenty of time to ponder whether I really want this watch. Hopefully by June, we'll get some idea of what other new releases TH has planned for this year.

Bulang & Sons do off-the-rack straps with no edge stitching. Or do you mean no corner stitching? Can't remember the Siffert strap off the top of my head.

Either way, any custom shop will do it for you - Heuerville, Wristwatch.me, Veblenist are three of my go-tos.

I have already asked my AD to put the inquiry on how to order these. As you said, we have a few months to go and this should offer plenty of time to everyone who want one to get their budget in order and place an order.

What is deadly in my book, are the surprise limited releases that sell out within ours.
