Interesting that the caseback features both "Heuer" & "TAG Heuer" logos on the movement.
So @Jim Dollares & team can be happy too. 😉

Seems odd that they went to the trouble to mark the movement 'Heuer' and then put a TAG Heuer rotor on it... maybe it's a subtle way of sending a message that the two are in fact the same.

Talked with my swiss AD yesterday and the one they should get has my name over it. Looking forward to have it in my hands, May-June the AD said, it's a very nice reedition IMO.

Would be great to get some modern Carreras in this case size as well. Promising to hear there will be plenty more Carreras this year.

99 more Carreras on the website than Aquaracers... I say we need more Aquaracers.😜

Have to say that the watch looks stunning in actual photos, for some weird reasons I got a feeling that I want one!

Think I'm going to go for this. Just called my nearest boutique in London. They have had a couple of calls about it already but apparently I'm first in line to sign up. Not operating any sort of list or taking deposits yet though, as they don't know their allocation.

It's not my thing, but I must admit the photos look better than the render suggested.

I like it a lot but not need a lot. It’s a great start and better than anything released in 2019. Undecided.

It's a tricky one. The annoying thing is, we don't know what other models are planned. I like this one a lot, but if a non-limited edition panda comes along afterwards, I'll be annoyed.

I expect The Rake, Hodinkee and others will be lining up.

Now that it's out there.

While finally TH nailed the proportions of the dial, the case still looks bloated to me. With some minor tweaks to the lugs, this could have looked even better.

As for the glassbox, you all know how much I dislike its overly prolonged dome, as it robs too much visibility.

All that said, I'm in to get one.

My thoughts exactly.

I love the look of the 160th, it's a great re-edition and marking a special occasion. But if I'm honest with myself, I think I like the looks of the Carrera Telemeter slightly better. I just have a thing for Pandas and I believe the Telemeter is flatter on the wrist compared to the 160th. I don't own a single Carrera yet, undecided if the 160th should be my first. It's really really tempting though... 😗

With the 50th anniversary Monacos it was exactly the same problem.
And I am also very tempted to get a 3hand Autavia. 👎😕🥰🤔😕😵‍💫
Well, that's not really problems, is it?
