That looks amazing!

That's probably what it is. I wear a vintage datejust a lot and have deemed it "perfect size", though my MK40 speedmaster with similar proportions wears well. Would have loved to have the 36mm CS3110 to compare to just to be certain!
Thanks. Yeah I think you just need to get used to it, I feel it wears really well. It looks great on you in your pictures! 👍

@imagwai owns both the Silver 160th and the CS3110. He also favors smaller watches for his wrist. When the UK is back on-line, I'm sure he'll be happy give you his opinion on how they compare. Here are some of his pics:

I may have stretched the truth for maximum comical impact. It’s more like a Jo Siffert LE Autavia white.
In other words….it’s white.
Shhhh, better not let Jim know. 😉

After reading the comment about the vintage Datejust, then perhaps @sixfiveoh should try the CS3110 if he can. I would say it perfectly complements my 36mm Rolex Explorer size-wise. It doesn't have much wrist presence, though. I wear my CS3110 when I want something understated and less noticeable.

I don't have a CS but I do have / have owned a couple original Carreras, including a 2447NT now. The caseband on the Glassbox is actually not very far off the original, and indeed most of the extra thickness is in the crystal. From your photos, it also looks like it wears pretty well on your wrist, no overhang or anything. But if you're used to 36mm 3-handers, sure I suppose it might feel big!

Yeah I think this is the way to go. Gotta know or I'll always be left wondering. Now to find one for a reasonable price...

Have a few straps coming today, will share some pics as they arrive 😁 Loved the contrast with the black but OEM alligator was too much flash. Plain vintage black horween from bandr -

Looks great on both straps @sixfiveoh! 👍

Have you gotten used to its size or do you still feel it's big for you?

Getting used to the size, but also recognizing it fills a different role than the 36mm would. It's a flashier piece for sure with more wrist presence. I like to lean more towards the vintage understated look but I think this will have its place. Still keeping my eyes peeled for a CS3110 to compare!

Or men with girly feet. @Jim Dollares, have a go?
I love it when you boys talk about my body. I might need to do a refresh on the toe nail polish before I post anything though.

That colour really goes well with the watch. I know faux patina is frowned on by some, I don’t see it as such with this. I think the coloured lume helps add to the legibility of the dial and give it some character. Dark coloured straps make the chronograph and subdial hands pop. Light straps pull the coloured lume forward and soften the dial. I can’t stop buying straps for this watch and you just gave me another choice👍

This watch will age well just like the original (OG) 😀Don’t worry about the faux patina 😉, it won’t be an issue later on 👍

Very good. I have bought a number of straps now from House of Straps and can recommend them.
