I gotta say , that’s is a bloody nice looking watch. Regret not picking one of those up along with the Dato 😵💫
Nice find @sixfiveoh
Was just about to congratulate you on getting the most beautiful watch in the world. Then I read this nonsense 🙄

Whut? This is not a big watch!!
Picked mine up after stumbling into it at a tag boutique in Cabo, being vaguely familiar with and somewhat keeping an eye out for a vintage Heuer chrono. In isolation, this looked like an identical yet modern version to me so I grabbed it. Spent the next few days reading about it and fear that I should have spent the money on a CS3110 or vintage 7753 instead, I feel like it just looks so big on me, specifically the thickness.
What do you think? Have a dark brown rally band coming for it that maybe will sway me...
Looks perfect on you. Ideally it would be slightly thinner, but I don't think this is a thick watch compared to a lot of chronos on the market. Most people complaining about the thickness on watch sites don't own it, and fail to appreciate it's the domed crystal that adds a lot of the height. I have the CS3110 as well, but I wear the silver 160th more (6.75" wrist). You can also console yourself with the fact you have a modern column-wheel in-house movement with 80 hour power reserve and one of the most magical silver dials you will find anywhere, in a fantastic case that is true, style-wise, to the original Carreras.

The silver should still be available. Join us and your soul shall be filled with a new level of happiness you have never ever experienced before.
If only my Bank Account was filled with the same happiness I might join you on that journey.
Just bought a new house……. i.e. tapped out for now 🙁
I understand. Congrats on the new house!
Thank you my friend. If it’s any consolation…the house is Silver 😀

Don't get me wrong - it's gorgeous! The dial is so crisp and looks amazing. Just feels a little big on my 6.5"... Any other small-wristed brethren rocking one in here?
Yup, my wrist is about the same size, 6.7". Don't have the Silver, mine's the Dato 45 (same dimensions). But I suppose it all depends on what you're used to. I wear a Monaco a lot, which wears even thicker, so the glassbox Carrera is great for my wrist.
Congrats on the new house!!! House > Watch any day and much happier for the better half too I'll bet! 👍
LOL. Too funny! Never seen a silver house before, I'm sure it's probably more like a light grey. 😁
