I should have spent the money on a CS3110 or vintage 7753 instead
Was just about to congratulate you on getting the most beautiful watch in the world. Then I read this nonsense 🙄

Don't get me wrong - it's gorgeous! The dial is so crisp and looks amazing. Just feels a little big on my 6.5"... Any other small-wristed brethren rocking one in here?

Picked mine up after stumbling into it at a tag boutique in Cabo, being vaguely familiar with and somewhat keeping an eye out for a vintage Heuer chrono. In isolation, this looked like an identical yet modern version to me so I grabbed it. Spent the next few days reading about it and fear that I should have spent the money on a CS3110 or vintage 7753 instead, I feel like it just looks so big on me, specifically the thickness.

What do you think? Have a dark brown rally band coming for it that maybe will sway me...
Looks perfect on you. Ideally it would be slightly thinner, but I don't think this is a thick watch compared to a lot of chronos on the market. Most people complaining about the thickness on watch sites don't own it, and fail to appreciate it's the domed crystal that adds a lot of the height. I have the CS3110 as well, but I wear the silver 160th more (6.75" wrist). You can also console yourself with the fact you have a modern column-wheel in-house movement with 80 hour power reserve and one of the most magical silver dials you will find anywhere, in a fantastic case that is true, style-wise, to the original Carreras.

This dude must be messing with us. Those pictures sell the watch to me 🙄
The first universally acclaimed Carrera in a very long time, well done I would say.

Now there’s a truth 👍

If only my Bank Account was filled with the same happiness I might join you on that journey.
Just bought a new house……. i.e. tapped out for now 🙁

Congrats on the new house!!! House > Watch any day and much happier for the better half too I'll bet! 👍
Thank you my friend. If it’s any consolation…the house is Silver 😀
LOL. Too funny! Never seen a silver house before, I'm sure it's probably more like a light grey. 😁

Congrats!!! Looks fine to me, except maybe in the middle pic it looks a tad bit tall. It's nice on the light brown strap, should look great on a dark brown rally strap too!

Yup, my wrist is about the same size, 6.7". Don't have the Silver, mine's the Dato 45 (same dimensions). But I suppose it all depends on what you're used to. I wear a Monaco a lot, which wears even thicker, so the glassbox Carrera is great for my wrist.

That looks amazing!

That's probably what it is. I wear a vintage datejust a lot and have deemed it "perfect size", though my MK40 speedmaster with similar proportions wears well. Would have loved to have the 36mm CS3110 to compare to just to be certain!

Congratulations sir @sixfiveoh 😀 Definitely a very nice watch and looks very good on you 😉 Give it more time. It’s very modern in quality and make but has that vintage-nostalgic feel. To me it felt alot of history has been inside this “time-capsule” of sort which gives it a surreal magical feeling 👍

39mm is probably the best bet for you and best of all, almost any strap will work on it ::rimshot:: Cheers!

Congratulations sir @heuerholic on the new Silver House ::psy:: I’m sure the Carrera Silver 160 will find it’s way in there and truly compliments your new house very well 😉

I may have stretched the truth for maximum comical impact. It’s more like a Jo Siffert LE Autavia white.
In other words….it’s white.
