Stupid question maybe but is there not a risk that third party bracelets scratch the watch case if the end links dont fit 100%?
Another case for the Forstner, Uncle Seiko did leave some slight marks. Cape Cod cloth will take care of them though.

Original end links will also scratch your watch. A life well lived.

Is it normal to get clicking sound when manually winding the watch?

at first i figured cause it was fully charged, but I let the watch fully wind down and stop and it was still clicking when manually winding it.

You are not pulling the crown, simply winding it? Then there shouldn’t be any clicking.

Yeah, if it’s still under warranty I would certainly bring it in to have that checked out.

I believe it may be normal. Every one of my H2 movements makes a very subtle click when winding. It’s easier to feel than it is to hear, but it’s there.

Thats a relief. The sound is similar to the clicking of some watches when you are overwinding them, you have to bring the watch closer to your ear to hear it.

I believe you and I are talking about the same thing. I also was surprised when I first appreciated it. But it is consistently there with all my watches that have this movement. One of them was freshly back from service and the other 3 from when they were brand new.

Congrats. What are your thoughts on the watch?

I'm pretty happy with it...I first saw it on release day last year..had it on the wrist for a while and initially thought it may be a little too small on my wrist..Fast forward 9 months and I'm now happy with the size. Wearing the JH80 more often has made the 39mm not feel as small.

I'm also happy I didn't get it back then as I saved 3k waiting until now. It's a beautiful dial that has so many different shades. Very happy to be joining the rest of the team with the Ice King.

@Mspeedster Thats what tipped me over the edge. Was really surprised when I made the offer to the AD and after a little while they accepted it. Would never have thought it could be had at that price.
