Google Wallet Works on TAG Heuer Connected E3?

Does anyone know if the new Google Wallet works for NFC payments on the Connected E3? I'm wondering because my Montblanc Summit 2+ hasn't (and apparently won't) get a Google Play update. Apparently a Google Play undate is need to continue using Google Pay as it is now Google Wallet. I updated to Google Wallet but keeps getting an error because Google Play doesn't support the update as Google Play itself isn't updated. Is this the same thing with the Connected E3? I'm using an S23 Ultra, if it's relevant.
