With a heavy heart, & some impending money needed, I'm looking to offer up for sale my recently purchased Monaco. Double annoying as I'm enjoying it, wanted it for a while & also (late to the party watching Drive to Survive).

Those who don't know - bought at the end of February, returned to the AD and swapped for a Carrera chrono, was second guessing myself, then released I missed the Monaco so AD kindly (brilliantly I may add) swapped back. Comes with the majority of its 5yrs warranty (2yrs standard then extended by 3).

Watch itself is in excellent condition, worn indoors for a few hours most days, no swirls that I can see, only possible issue is the strap where I've been wearing it (slight indent from the deployant) .

Possible slight hairline dot between brushed bezel and polished case at 12.

Very much a statement watch, 39mm in size but does wear slightly bigger, more near a 42mm, yes it's chunky but does sit under jumper cuffs! Chrono functions work lovely, and very clear, time keeping great & date ticks over nicely at 12.

Comes with the new travel pouch box, only Ltd Eds come with this now.

AD mentioned these are looking to be discontinued and recent interviews by Tag CEO suggest they are moving away from vintage Heuer reissues.

Looking for £5,250 which will include 2 additional straps - recent blue Golf Monaco strap, & brown 70s Monaco strap (both waiting to come in stock from the AD & I will post on)

£5,000 with standard strap only

Based in Kent, but can travel to Essex/ London with in reason.

Dust on the crown picture no marks. Questions please feel free to ask.

Thanks Brad

Oh no......I'm sad to see this.
Good luck with the sale mate.
You've had a hard time between this and the WOS Carrera.

Thanks Anthony. Hoping it may not have to go, but some future big expenses in the horizon, means the money would be handy.

Sorry to see this one for sale. Hope you can keep it, but if not, I commend you for keeping priorities in order, sir. I've sold some in the past for that same reason.

Not much interested from what I can tell.

How about a drop to £5,000 with the straps & £4,750 without

Sorry to see this Brad. If you're not getting much interest, where else have you advertised? If only here, then it's quite a limited audience. Try posting on a site that is crawled by watchrecon.com (such as sister site Omega Forums). And if you really want to move it, then eBay is the place, although you'll clearly take a hit on the selling fees.

Have listed on another site (watches in general), on chron24 at £4,600 to cover some fees, however I'd take £4,250 +postage and securus insurance (minus the additional straps).

AD have noted they can polish the lug marks out when next over, however understand this may not be wanted.

Thought I’d re-look at this.

Reduction to £3,750 on the OEM strap, additional £100 to include the blue strap.

Have noticed a slight dink above the LH crown on the polished edge of the case. Only visible in direct lighting.

Postage & insurance bi securas on top. UK sale only.

Which blue strap? Willing to sell separate? Ta.[/QUOTE

The all blue one from the current Golf Monaco. Not currently going to split I’m afraid. Depends how the Monaco sells (if with the OEM black) I can let you know.

Thanks Brad

Time to take a bit of break from new purchase. Unfortunately nursery fees have double in 2 year!

So need to stay strong until my 40th in June.
Then I’ll decide between the Tudor & an Omega (looking at you green Speedmaster or see what this new Speedy is when announced early next year).
