I’ve had my Monaco Calibre 11 for a couple of months and the sports strap that comes with it is ok (I like the clasp) but I really like the black crocodile skin strap that comes with the newer version. Has anyone tried to get this or the bracelet for their Calibre 11 Monaco?

The newer H02 version is actually a dark blue croc strap, unless you're referring to the black dial, then it's black croc. I haven't tried it, but it should fit no problem.

I do sometimes use the Silverstone's croc rally style strap with my C11.


But mostly I like the dark blue calfskin with blue stitch rally strap from the CAW211D.

Yes, you're right. It would be the edition with the black dial. I thought these straps on the H02 didn't have holes in them, but they still do?

Also, the bracelet looks fantastic. That's a great thread. I'm wondering if I could still get it.

 

No the H02 Monaco croc straps are solid, without holes. The bracelet should be orderable via any AD, I checked a while ago and was going to order one. But decided I prefer the Monaco on straps.

The strap on my C11 Monaco above is from the Silverstone (circa 2010) re-issue. (I like the racing holes.)

 

I was going to order the bracelet from the black model for mine but the price put me off, iirc it was circa £500! That buys a lot of straps.

 

I am looking for a strap idea for my Monaco, I need suggestions on where to buy good quality straps.

Lots of options for the Monaco. Which Monaco do you have and what kind of strap are you looking for?

 

I have the grey dial special edition.

 

I've previously owned that model. To be honest, I think the OEM strap suits it best. If I were to replace it with something else, it might be the strap from from the Red Monaco 50th anniversary. Strap part number FC6467.



Are you looking for a different color other than black, different style, or both?

 

Yeah… I want something different from the perforated black strap. However, everything I have seen is not OEM.

 

The brown OEM strap (FC6466), from the '70s Monaco 50th might work.


There's also the OEM Gray croc strap (FC6250) from the 2009 Monaco Gulf Calibre12.


Also released in 2009 was an OEM Monaco 40th Anniversary strap set.

The black and red one could work and/or perhaps the tan color. But these are probably quite hard to find and likely pricey, as these were around $500 a piece, when new.

What do you think about any of the above OEM options?

I don't know the individual part numbers for these. I bought the black and orange around 12 years ago in person at a TAG Heuer Boutique. You could try calling your closest TH Boutique to see if they can still get them.

Authentic Watches still has the listing, but it looks like a special order for all 5. Not cheap at $2500!
