TAG Ambassador Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone won 2 gold medals at the Olympics, 400m Hurdles & 4x400 relay, wearing her lucky ladies Link. Which she personally considers her World Record watch, as she's worn it each time she's broken the WR in 400m Hurdles. Six times now, with the latest and greatest at the Paris Olympics.

She literally blew the competition away!
Do you know which model watch that is?

Ref WBC1390, which is no longer in production. It's her personal watch of choice, perhaps from before becoming an ambassador. As she always wears it when competing.

When not competing, TAG would rather dress her with their current line up. She was wearing the steel & gold Aquaracer on the medals podium. I also saw her wearing the pink Aquaracer in a recent post-race interview.

Thanks! My wife has the same watch but without the diamonds (Ref WBC1392), which she still absolutely loves.

A bit surprising to me, considering both models have been discontinued, but additional links were readily available from my local AD

The maison remains the best first step for sourcing links, full stop - they even had half links for my first gen Link Calibre 36 (CT511B)

Came across this article by the New York Times about a random, irresponsible guy and his Monaco. I'm quite confused here - is the Monaco such a legacy timepiece in league with PP or Rolex that it needs such an article in the NYT? My thought is No.

I think NYT would find many more crazier Monaco obsessed fans here to interview if they were going down that route.

It basically talks about some shoemaker who became a Heuer fan and got his first C12 Monaco as an anniversary gift, which got stolen from his house. He bought another one, which he lost on a trip. Then he got a third Monaco, apparently the same one.

It's basically one of those fan articles that the watch media houses publish, but about real collectors and real pieces.

Dempsey, wearing his KITH Tokyo x TAG Heuer F1 reissue.
Man of taste. The red one is probably my favorite of the F1 re-issues.

Patrick Dempsey has also returned to Motor Racing again, in the Porsche Endurance Challenge - North American series.

He wore the Carbon Monza in this first race.

Then the KITH Tokyo again in the next race, this past weekend.

Finally managed to catch The Fall Guy on the flight back. Of course had to pause to admire the Carrera. Plus a couple of missed opportunities for showcasing TAG in other scenes.
