Congratulations David-a great nod to the heritage Autavia. (and great heritage addition to the current line-up!)

I think the best thing about it is that it "fixes" so many of the issues people had with the original Autavia Cup reissue - the minute track on the subdial, Heuer on the movement, removal of the "Heuer 02" text on the dial, the bezel doesn't look as fat. Plus it has the sapphire caseback, which the JH85 doesn't. And I am a sucker for a 3-register reverse panda.

It would be really cool to hear about the process from start to finish.

Erm, well, this is a bit awkward...

Hmm, that "Siffert Monaco" got me thinking a bit....

Still, for £7,000 I don't think I'd be interested, even if the case dimensions were more classic. Fun to play with, though!

As for the colors, I wonder if in person they'd end up matte like they appear in the configurator, or if they're more metallic? I'd think the latter, but we'll see. Who here's going to double the price of their TAG to find out?

Indeed...but you may notice that Bamford no longer offer a white-dial Autavia with blue highlights 😉

Indeed. This was another one of David's actions, to ensure that this piece is really exclusive.

Just saw the release on Hodinkee. While I love the original release, and have gotten past the quirks of the dial, I am a fan of your release. I wish i could own all the Autavia Heritage pieces. Great job.

Thank everyone for the kind words. It's been a dream to get the chance to work on a project like this, so am very pleased with the results and hope that it's something that people will love. A special shout out to Hubert who has been a great source of advice along the way 😉

Good idea @Perseus I'll write that up!

I love it aesthetically in... Just not sure a42mm watch is for me. Wish I had tried a stock autavia for size now. I guess I have 12 minutes to decide!
