Now to a more important question: can I get recommendation to where to buy some good extra straps for this beauty? What will you be using on this piece and where did you get that strap? 😀

I'm also in the no email stage (tracking or delay). Exciting pictures though.

If you haven’t had an email yet, it means that your watch was shipped today.

When I’m back at my computer, I’ll send out tracking numbers.

If anyone's watch has the TAG Heuer mainplate, please let me know- there are around a dozen in total.

TAG Heuer will rectify all of these watches with the correct movement.

Got my tracking info, a little surprised the estimated transit is 7 days to USA.

If only these would trade like Rolexes in the years to come - these would be worth a ton more 🤦

Well it looks like the Swiss have taken an entire day to ship from Lyss to Basel, then back to Lyss just to drop it off at FedEx, so I get to wait an extra day - Tuesday now 😵‍💫

Wait til they hand it off to FedEx in a day, that 7 days becomes 8 😀

I got my tacking number two days ago, like many more, and it was delivered to my house on the US east coast at 10 am this morning - now I have to get out of the office as soon as possible!

That is a long time. It's taking less than that to get mine to New Zealand (not that I have it yet...)

You are lucky! Mine seems to be stuck in Customs. Not sure if this is in the US or in France.

That looks like US customs pre-clearance in France.

Yes, I agree.

Interestingly, the Charles De Gaulle Hub entry wasn't originally showing on this list. All others rows were there, except this one. The proximity of the last two time-stamps to this one gives away the location. It would be impossible to make it across the Atlantic in two hours.

Edit: I had the page open on another computer, which shows the original state:

A note for US Customers. US Customs may ask you for specific information on the watch, including customs codes, materials, country of origin and the value of components.

All of this information is detailed in the sales invoice sent through a few weeks back and should also be included in the documents accompanying the watch. You can send a copy of this invoice through to FedEx, which should be sufficient for their purposes.

Bought a new watch winder especially for the occasion.
The pure white of the dial on the new Siffert is stunning. A nice contrast to the Jack Heuer version.
I can see the great restraint that has been taken putting this watch together.
Can you guess the odd one out?
