Bracelet removal

Hello

I purchased a rubber strap (FT6028) and buckle (FC5048) for my Aquaracer CAP2112 direct from TAG. I want to swap out with the metal bracelet depending on my mood...
Question, what tool do I need to remove the metal bracelet (spring bar tool?). Any links to where to purchase would be helpfull.

Thanks!!

See this thread for various options:
For metal bracelets, I like to use the tweezer tool. But a standard spring bar removal tool can work.

Will the tweezer tool also work to install / remove the rubber strap?

OR..

Do I also need the pick type?

The pick type tool is much better for installation & removal of rubber straps. It will work on bracelets too. I've never tried using the tweezer tool on a rubber strap, I don't think it will work that well.

I use both. I find the tweezers easier for bracelets and they'll reduce the risk of possible scratching of the end-links and lugs. Pick tool is better for rubber/leather straps and is the tool of choice if you only want to spend for one.

I received the rubber strap and the buckle. I have no idea how to assemble it. Any help would be appreciated.

The buckle isn't exactly the same. And with the rubber it doesn't slide very easily. Does this look correct and the length adjustment would be sliding the one side in the buckle further or less?

That looks correct. The further in you slide, the smaller the fit.

Yea, I think so. The tool I ordered for the spring bars on my metal bracelet isn't in yet so I have to wait to swap.

I was able to change out the bracelet for the strap using a small screwdriver. For future I think the tweezer type will work best.

Some pics. I really like it. More comfortable than the metal bracelet.
One last question... Where do I get replacement spring bars? The new rubber strap came with two new ones but the bars that were holding on the metal bracelet are pretty beat up. I've had the watch serviced a few times and I suspect from multiple removal they wear out. I'd like to get at least one additional set. Does anyone have a link or know the size? Would like genuine TAG.
