Looks like PVD in that photo, but could just be the lighting. I'm sure I will not like it but I'm glad there's a bit more still to come out of Baselworld - so far it's been rather dreary

Would be cool, but feels like that would be to push the heritage of the Monaco a bit too much, at least for me.

 

We're not having a Monaco Connected until we have the Monaco 24 Heuer02T and that's final.

Now, given that it's clearly a Monaco, and it is 'an iconic model', and given that it definitely looks 'black'... how excited are you guys about this release?

And how excited are you that it's a (deep intake of breath) reinterpretation, which basically means I'll probably like it but none of you will?

Hmm I'm not usually a fan of the black PVD coated, but sure, I'm ready to be happily surprised!

 

It's not just lazy - it communicates a spectacular lack of imagination. Imagine how a new Autavia GMT chronograph would have gone over, that would have been awesome....
instead, we get the same movement as the Aquaracer GMT 3-hander but for I bet twice as much MSRP

 

Was this a last minute effort after they found out nearly everyone else was unveiling a GMT as well?

 

That Autavia GMT is horrible.

 

I don't think so, Bamford don't make anything that isn't PVD coated do they?
