I know what you mean. The faux-patina lume looks out of place as do some fo the red accents. I like the new 02T, not that I will be able to afford it!
These look like a cross between a Lehmann and an AP RO with the bezel of the new Link. Really nothing original there, IMO.
Liking the new black and white Oyster Perpetuals. Some excellent choices now at 36mm and 39mm. I also like the GMT but not enough to choose it over a used model. Most interesting Basel release for me so far is the 39mm Tudor BB 58.
Carrera Heuer 02T Tête de Vipère post is live, with some cool shots direct from Basel https://www.calibre11.com/new-for-2018-carrera-heuer-02-tourbillon-tête-de-vipere/
New post- the Calibre 16 Carrera duo https://www.calibre11.com/new-for-2018-tag-heuer-carrera-calibre-16-blue-and-black-dial/
Looks like legibility has won out over pure aesthetics here. It doesn't look so bad on these pics, but the video... the sub dials look huge! I prefer the black over the blue though.
I like how Mr. Biver is dressed, it's nice to see someone of his position that is still able to be a bit more casually dressed than most other at Baselworld. With that said, he maybe could have unzipped a button or two of his jacket
