I guess the Monaco Gulf could be seen as part of that?

Aquaracer Cal 7 GMT almost half that price again. Better looking than either

I think design wise this is the best aquaracer for me so far !

That blue case is kinda cool but a terrible way to pay homage to the Carrera's 55-yr anniversary given the climate around the vintage models these days. I agree, that Tudor GMT is very strong and so far is far and away the most interesting watch out of Basel this year - followed closely by the Tudor 1958. I will be visiting a Tudor retailer for sure! (And as always, avoiding the TAG stores.)

Mmm, I guess so. But it doesn't look very new to me. Kind of been done before.

The Cal 16 is interesting but no way I'd choose that over a JH80 or the other 41mm Heuer Carreras.

Actually up in my neck of the woods, this Aquaracer GMT is only about a couple of hundred dollars cheaper than the new Tudor GMT. I'll pay the extra $ for an in-house movement with a 70 hour power reserve anytime!

Meaning, there will be right? ;) Don't worry, I don't expect an answer to that one.

Well, it’s only March, so anything is possible.

I choose to interpret that as a "yes". Yay, although my wallet is not to keen on more pressure right now...;)

Agreed, the tudor gmt and 1958 are the two that caught my eye. None of the tags are calling my name at all. The only question is whether I can bring myself to buy a watch with an aluminium bezel, if only the gmt came with black ceramic. It would be interesting to put it next to the aquaracer gmt, but I think it looks far better in the pictures

This one confuses me. It's been said on other threads that the carrera identity is spread too thin over too many models and this exemplifies it.

I love the looks and complexity of this as a mechanical piece of engineering on the wrist, but the legibility isn't there for me. I feel they could have improved the contrast with some of the dials.

Agreed this is a nice watch. and keenly priced. So far my top pick too.... let's hope for something a little more interesting to come though

Interesting more general to see some smaller dial sizes reappearing too
