Is the dismay at the Calibre 5 Autavia maybe partly because people have switched their affections from the Carrera range and now see the Autavia as the untouchable idol? Because thinking about it there's already Calibre 5 and 7 Carreras.... but then again maybe the difference is they look good... I mean the Calibre 7 Twin Time is a nice looking watch. Maybe if there was a Twin Time Autavia it would be more agreeable?
Well like I said earlier, though I disagree with it the three-hander Carreras make enough business sense given the iconic appearance of the Carrera - those lugs are unmistakeable. The Autavia, not so much - this is clearly TAG trying to milk cash out of something they only recently began reissuing.

After seeing the short clip by T&T on the Gulf Monaco I just again start to really want a Monaco. Sure, it's funky colours and for a millennial like me Gulf racing doesn't really mean anything "real", but it's sure to brighten up your day whenever you look at the face!
The Monaco cost a smaller fortune though MSRP for what you're actually getting.
Indeed, which is why its so good with a world wide release of the Gulf version. It will be available for reasonable grey market prices 👍
