Agreed. Ideally also a bit thinner than the current cal 17s. Something like this perhaps?

Calibre11 D.C
Wouldn't that be nice. Maybe a two-register version?
Or even a full black would be nice like:

Calibre11 D.C
I'll try and find out...my guess is that it will be only Calibre 16 in the classical case

I came across a February 27, 2016, posting from the Timezone.com forum, where someone apparently saw all the new models quite early and wrote up some rumors. One item of note is that:

The reference CAR2A10 , CAR2A11 and CAR2A13 will be discontinued : this case will receive only the caliber 16

Although the strength of the Swiss franc is clearly hurting.

The title is misleading; you'd think Tag Heuer is suffering whereas Mr. Biver is talking about the industry in general, and yet TH is still marking growth.
Yes, I agree they couldn't have picked a more misleading title. Click-bait I guess.

Thanks; hopefully David can get some sort of official confirmation. Otherwise, get them while they last.

I think JCBiver's talk about margins is indicative if where he's been looking at.

It is of course an extension of what was happening when JCBabin was running LVMH Swiss Manufactures and the union of Zenith and TAGHeuer and the consolidation of Cortech and Artecade into the fold.

I don't think many other companies can do the same sort of thing to reduce costs.

The new Heuer 01 grey titanium version looks absolutely amazing to me. I have a thing for chronographs where the tachymeter scale is etched into a metal bezel (think: Omega Speedmaster 57, Rolex Daytona). Just wish it was smaller than 45mm.

Monza is stunning. Also a growing fan of the 01, more so with this new line up.
