Awesome that you're enjoying the Orange Aquaracer. How do feel its 43mm size wears compared to your 42mm Seamaster?

My guess on your Seamaster's power reserve is 55 hours. I own one too but have never measured its reserve. Mine gains almost zero time if I keep it on a winder at night.
It feels very similar on tbh, albeit that the Seamaster is more comfortable, both on bracelet. It looks visually bigger, due to the brighter colour I think, but not hugely so. Both feel tidy on my small 16.5cm wrist.

My winder was delayed, as there was an issue with shipping, but the courier email says deliver early evening. Will be giving it a try on that overnight hopefully. What settings do you use for your Seamaster?

I put it on the max setting at night. As my wrist isn't all that active during the day. The Seamaster doesn't even need to be on a winder, I just find that mine gains no time that way, otherwise it gains about +1 to 2 secs/day

Sounds like mine currently then. No complaints from me at 2 secs a day.

The winder was part of my deal, which I want predominantly for the Aquaracer tbh.

Congrats again, @bpsmith. I enjoyed the orange Aquaracer on my wrist last evening. It is definitely more than just a summer watch for me.

Glad you’re still enjoying it too. Definitely an all year round beauty!

Seamaster stopped at 64 hours and 3 mins. Happy with that.

My Speedy 3861 gets 65 Hours consistently.
I am happy with that.

Do you guys put the watch on the winder overnight because you don’t wear a watch in bed? I only take my watch off to shower/bathe and otherwise wear one 24/7.

I don't wear a watch in bed. Neither do I have a winder.

I wear my Garmin in bed for sleep tracking.

I feel outa balance if I don’t have a watch on, sleep might suffer if I went without.

'it is actually inspired by the brand’s first orange-dialed Aquaracer watch from 1979'

And at this point anything else they can possibly say is completely redumbnant. I expect this kind of crap from Esquire, people who don't know better - this is supposed to be a professional watch site.

Just for completion, the Aquaracer was fully round and left in the box. It lasted for 43 hours and 25 mins. Again, pleased with that.

Now I will just alternate between the two and enjoy, with a bit of winder use where I know there is scope for either to go flat.
