Android Wear "Oreo" Update

Yesterday I got the Google Play update on my original Connected watch and that changed the UI to use the "black theme".

However, I have not updated the Modular yet.

Can’t belive no updates for the 46
I am disappointed about this too. It's basically the same hardware, so this seems to me, this is purely based on a lifecycle decision.

I am too...
It is a pity.
But i think there should at least be the security Updates, it stucks to october 2017.

Yeah; the original Connected is no longer getting full Android System Updates. However, we are still getting plenty of other updates, including Wear OS.

If it's not a hardware proble, I find this very annoying. Even if sometimes updates are not for the better, this is a reason for me not to buy another TAG Heuer connected watch. Another one is, that you never know when they change the functions of the associated apps, like when they deleted the Ambassador watch faces for the THC46. And the information given on change like that is sparse.
On the other hand this is still to be considered a big experiment for a swiss watchmaker, and their courage to get into this can not be underestimated.

Thank you for the hint. But on Playstore it says that I can't install this, because my Device is not ready for it. Since I did all available Updates, I assume, that it's the 46, which can't handle this.
The trick is to open this link on your computer's browser. Then it will show you the compatible devices. I have it installed on the original 46mm and the Modular 45mm.

It worked! There were even more and new watchfaces to choose from, for example the new RB Racing! This was the first Android app ever, which I had to install from the PC browser.

My THC45 wear os version is 1.5 Android 8.0, shouldn't wear os be at least 2.0 ? I tried to update but it comes back as system up to date!

Is this version of os on my THC45 correct ?

Mine say 1.5 too and when I checked it says I'm up to date! Im on iPhone 8plus though
