Just a tip for anyone not receiving the update:
If you repeatedly (may be up to 2+ minutes) tap the green "system is up to date" screen. The update will start to download.

You probarbly need to have WIFI on and in my case I disabled the bluetooth connection to the phone to force the wifi active.

Yes, the repeated tapping while on WiFi has been the recommended method for quite awhile.

I find it doesn't need wifi either, downloads fine over bluetooth

In the past, I've had mixed results over Bluetooth, but I'm glad to learned it worked well for you. 😀

Upgraded yesterday -- battery life day 1 is not awesome (which has happened with previous releases, so not concerned) and also not able to load the battery graph from the Android Wear app (android).

Other than that, no serious issues.

I could no longer take screenshots from the Settings. Haven't tried again since (not worn my Connected since the upgrade).

Android Oreo Update will start rolling out to today. However the timing is determined by each watch’s manufacturer. No details have been announced by TAG Heuer yet.

REF: https://plus.google.com/u/1/ HoiLam/posts/eMzmoxztkpw

Improvements include:
Notification vibration strength setting
Touch lock option for wet conditions
Support for 7 new countries / languages
Plus more e.g. notification channels, battery saving background limits

The version number associated with the new Oreo build of Android Wear is still apparently 2.6.0, though it is reporting as "Android OS 8.0.0."

Just completed the download and it seems a bit " buggy" . Will wait to see how it settles down. I use Tags own GMT watch face and I suspect they've turned down the lume when on dim to get more batt life out of it. A little frustrating for me as I quite liked the slightly brighter lume even on dim. I was averaging 26 hours batt life anyway so that wasn't an issue for me. I take the view that it needs a full charge once a day like my phone.

Hi,

Any joy with this yet? I can't get my batt life useage up on my phone either? To be honest Id like to uninstall Oreo, anyone know if its possible to uninstall and go back to previous FW?

That's been the only issue that I've had-- bet this is fixed in a near future update.

Battery life has improved dramatically, last night still at 40% at 11pm, watch on my wrist around 6:15... really like the touch lock feature (it should be on the main pref screen though)
