Android Oreo Update will start rolling out to today. However the timing is determined by each watch’s manufacturer. No details have been announced by TAG Heuer yet.

Improvements include:
Notification vibration strength setting
Touch lock option for wet conditions
Support for 7 new countries / languages
Plus more e.g. notification channels, battery saving background limits

The version number associated with the new Oreo build of Android Wear is still apparently 2.6.0, though it is reporting as "Android OS 8.0.0."

The Connected 45 is on the list of updates but not the 46 which is disappointing. I've only just picked up a 46 and was looking forward to the vibration settings. The hardware isn't very different..

That is disappointing, I hope the update goes out to both. Especially, because the electronics on both generations are essentially the same. However I do realize they may be using this to push Connected 46mm owners to upgrade.

You're aware there is still some adjustment that can be made to the vibration settings? Normal, Long and Double for notifications?

I'm not on 45 yet as I'm still faithful to my 46. It still works perfectly. No Oreo update means it will not get any further support from Android Wear. I knew this day would come. Still hoping for the update to be rolled-out to the 46 as well.

I thought that was part of the 8.0 update? How are you adjusting that?

Not sure, but on mine it's a menu option under Settings>Notifications. Is that what you've got?

No I don't - that's the later version of the watch though. I'm still surprised you have that option already!
