Yeah, you're right and I'll probably listen to it if only because George is entertaining, but I can't imagine they can add much to the other 300 times it's been discussed.

Most of the ones I've seen are more like a run down list of all the various Bond watches, with the reviewer giving their opinion on the watches.

I expect this episode to be a little different. Not a review of all the Bond watches, but more of a discussion/debate on which watch is the best or definitive Bond watch and why.

I wonder if Mr Biver ever considered approaching the Bond people about switching to TAG Heuer? Especially since he got the Omega into the franchise. Would have been a good way to push the launch of the Connected (to Eternity). Could just see DC rocking the H02T module...

Calendar of the James Bond movies didn’t fit that interesting idea. The Modular Connected (with the H02 Tourbillon module) was launched in 2017 (in the market until 2020), just between Spectre (2015) and No Time To Die (2021)… but during same 2017 was released 'Kingsman: The Golden Circle', with Colin Firth and Taron Egerton wearing the Connected (and Halle Berry a Monaco).

TAG Heuer launched the Connected Modular 45 Kingsman Special Edition just when the movie was released, and also a Monaco Lady Kingsman Special Edition

Pretty sure that isn't Colin Firth, unless he's had a lot of work done

:D No, he is Taron Egerton (who also played Elton John in Rocketman), and in this sequence, he is giving a Connected to Colin Firth

Bremont were the sponsors for the 1st film, outmuscled (paid more) by Tag I guess.

As much as Bremont are more decisive then Tag, think they'd make a good shout for Bond in the next instalment.

Bremont for Bond would make a lot of sense. British (isch) and very tactile cool watches

I know Brits hate Bremont but for the rest of us they are very exotic ;)

Nothing in their range excites me, very competent but uninspiring.

Well, well, well, this was as entertaining as I thought it might be. Can't say I disagree with the winner!

^What's weird is that none of them brought up the Submariner, which for me will always be the original and hence definitive Bond watch. It was worn by Connery, Lazenby, Moore, and Dalton, yet Omega (which is paid product placement) dominated the discussion.

However, in the comments it was mentioned that they all thought one of the others would bring up the "elephant in the room", but none did.

I did think Adrian's choices were very fitting though. I'm usually in alignment with his views.

I was quite disappointed with this episode, I thought it would be a discussion of other watches they thought would be a perfect match for Bond, not them just picking among the existing ones.

Yes that would've been interesting too. They should've submitted a candidate for both existing and potential successors.

I guess Omega has such a strong connection with the franchise now that they probably didn't even think about what might replace Omega. Funny, because when I first saw Goldeneye in 1995, I thought of Omega as nothing more than cashing in on the Bond name, just like BMW's introduction as Bond's new car in that movie. BMW only did three movies and it was back to Aston Martin in Brosnan's fourth movie. But it seems like Omega is here to stay, unless some other brand (ehem TAG?) can wrestle it away from them.
