What a great title for a YouTube channel and I can see some cool horological merch in their future…

I really enjoy the banter between these guys. I also like the fact that George (Bamford Watches) and Andrew (Time & Tide) are big Heuer and Tag supporters. This episode had a good portion of time talking about the V4 and Dark Lord and a brief appearance of the Night Diver. I hope they do well as individually I enjoy their content - all together they have some entertaining moments.

 

These guys have great chemistry, I enjoyed all three episodes

Also fun and refreshing to hear people who genuinely like TAG

 

I'm not sure how I feel about Bamford, but always like Adrian

 

I couldn't stop staring at the original Night Diver on Adrian's wrist. But Adrian didn't seem to even know what it is, apparently it was given to him to wear by Bamford.

It's in such pristine condition that I have to wonder if Bamford recoated the PVD and perhaps worked some other Bamford magic on it. (Easy enough for him, as he does this all the time on his watches.) The PVD looks like new and dial also looks whiter compared to most vintage originals that I've seen, which are usually more yellowed with age, making them more beige. It also has a non standard bracelet, as they're supposed to be on a Jubilee style.

 

I was thinking the same thing. But, Bamford boy also talks multiple times about how he doesn't baby his watches, how he bangs them around almost on purpose when he buys them to put his own signs of life on them and that a watch is not supposed to look perfect or treated like a precious little item in a drawer. On the contrary he hasn't bought the dark lord cause he hasn't found one in mint condition for a "good price".

I'm looking forward to Ep. 4 - Best Bond Watch showdown. Which will prevail: Rolex Submariner vs. Omega Seamaster vs. a bunch of Seikos vs. the dark horse Heuer Night Diver or other?

 

Oh what an original concept. I found a YouTube channel called AussieWatch or something yesterday, looked through her videos... James Bond watches, SMQ Monaco...... done to death.

 

I think this would be a perfect Bond watch. First position of the crown to set the time, second position triggers a built in nuclear bomb

 

Monaco 69 would be the perfect Bond watch. And if he hit a baddie with it they wouldn't get up.

I've been following these guys since over a year ago due to their non-dismissive attitude towards upscale smartwatches... However, I just asked them why they didn't address any in their last 4 installments. Andrew replied stating they seldom will.
I guess I'll keep waiting for one that does :/

 

Why would they do that when they can rehash the Bond Watch theme for the hundredth time?

Yes it's been done before, but not by these three. I'm curious to see their views and interaction on the topic. Especially as Bamford seems to be a TAG Heuer fanboy.
