The rubber off of the crown has come off ? Have read that there has been issues with this.wtf

You mean that's not covered under manufactures defect?

It should be covered if it's still within the warranty, which is usually 2 years.

So I went to the AD today they told me that if they send it away it will take 6 weeks so they said instead of doing that "crazy glue it back on"...... So I did ??

I haven't seen it before on the crown but I do know someone had it with one of the buttons that the rubber came off, which was glued back on after he got it back, so this is probably the same way to fix it. Just make sure that if it comes off again the AD stands behind their advice they gave you and that it doens't interfere with your warranty on the watch.
