Changing brands frequently here, no loyalty from me as these jeans don't fit next year, always shrinking. Yeah, that's what it is, they shrink! 👎
No other possible way to splain it.
Buy Edwin (specifically selvedge), I bought my last one 4 years ago, they don't shrink or it could be I'm just lucky.😗

I bought couple of pair of Levi’s recently, getting tight on tolerances around the waist - needed the next size up, again-but the leg length tape measure must be broke, always been a 30” inside leg for a perfect fit, these, no.
Girl in the shop thought I was kidding when I told her of the days of ‘shrink to fit’ Levi’s, get them home and then sit in a hot bath for an hour to get them snug, and blue tinted legs for a week. Daughter tells me turn ups are just for hipsters, well I’m* just not going to the effort of putting them on the inside.

* Well the boss isn’t.

Would be hilarious if it turns out there is a new plastic F1 in denim blue plastic with a jeans fabric strap 😎

Selvedge down the right side of the strap obviously, with the stripes from that following through the crown, for the win

Room for a blue denim and a black denim of course. 😉

Ever since the Moonswatch came out, I've been talking about how a customisable F1 quartz series could do well - easy enough to have the option to mix and match your case, bezel and strap colours. Dials too, realistically - it would be easy enough to have a selection of all 4 options with the dials/movements ready to be fitted in the selected case and then bezels and straps attached. This could even be done in-store, and you could have pre-selected combinations for things like a country's flag or Formula 1 track locations etc.

Personally I don't like the original F1 nor the later designs with the hard rubber inserts/crown guards (I do like the modern designs, especially the Senna edition with the Legend bracelet) but a customisable colourful option could certainly be a gateway to more watches for many people.

Been done .

I distinctly remember my brothers and I had just such a system of watches in the early 80s.

I don't remember the maker, or brand, but definitely remember the interchangable elements. IIRC they did resemble the early F1 style of "plastic diver-look-a-like".

It wasn't a high-value system, of that I'm sure, and all plastic based.

I love how they use the photo that David used for Calibre 11... OF AN F1 THAT DIDN'T EVEN EXIST!

It's a yellow and grey with a black bezel and strap mod.
