Just like the CAW211P list, it will be interesting to see how the list grows. Being a limited release, I do not expect it to reach the numbers of the Monaco list. However, I do expect the list of 60th Carrera owners to grow in the future.

We all have our favorites and that’s what’s fun about this forum! I like seeing what you @Mspeedster @Jim Dollares and @imagwai might have a suggestion or two. These could be on a nato and still look great. Looking forward to how everyone wears their watch. Such a fun watch!!

It will be interesting to see how the list evolves.

Because there have been so many prior releases of the glassbox, I think it's hard for some who already own a prior release to justify adding another one. I was on the fence for quite a while, even though I always wanted a panda version since the Silver 160th's intro.

For reference, IIRC, the Silver 160th had about 12 or so initial forum buyers. The Dato about 10. The green teal a little less and the red even less.

I would think that since there will be no more glassbox Carrera’s under FA’s leadership, the folks that may have been on the fence may be looking at picking up their favorite. The Dato has always been a favorite of mine along with the Fragment. Knowing that a “Heuer” branded Carrera in the future is out of the question, those are on my preowned radar.

As @Aquagraph had previously mentioned, it will be interesting to see if the glassbox watches will start to appreciate now. All of them, except for the Skipper and Blue Dreamer, have gone down in value. The Dato was holding its own, but I've seen them start to list for just under $7000, where previously the asking prices were above the retail of $7200. So now might be the best time to grab a Dato if you're interested in one.

Michael,
Matt (@Jemagloh) has #257.
OK, thanks. I made an edit and added his number above. I don't have Adam's number either.

Also, if people are not comfortable having their numbers shown, I can remove them from the list as well. But it seemed like there was an interest in the numbers.

^^ This was in regards to strap choice
You know, after seeing @kappa_md's post of that old famous photo of Colin Chapman wearing the Heuer Skipperera (Films, TV & Media thread), I noticed his bracelet looks similar to the style of the Forstner BoR that Wei Koh had on this Blue Dreamer.

So I think that's going to be my next purchase. I'll put it on the Dato first and when I tire of the Panda's OEM rally strap, I'll swap it over.

it's amazing to me how the silver in this dial can change its shade and tone
Now you know how I've felt for the last two years 😉

Mine’s #237 👍 (Though it is still for safekeeping)

With all honesty, I do like the Carrera Glassbox series. This is actually my 4th 😉 The 39mm is already a sweet spot for me (for vintage inspired designs) since most of my modern TAG Heuer’s are 42 and above.

I haven't forgotten you. Just waiting until you've received it and post here. I don't want to jinx anything until you have it hand.

It might take awhile to get mine on hand, probably until all 60th Anniversary releases are done 😗 Anyway it doesn’t matter but mine’s #237 😉 A quick trip to Melbourne is also possible 👍 I’m not sure if I’m the only one in my country who has acquired one.

Yes I've seen pics of it with the GF BoR bracelet. But we really don't know if that's how Colin Chapman wore his do we? In that particular pic, it also looks like the Forstner style to me, albeit with end links that the Forstner doesn't have.

No not 100% but it does have an end link and don’t think people were swapping bracelets around much in those days.
