An email has just landed in the UK, so maybe that'll see a few more sales, but yes, was still in stock last time I checked. I needn't have stayed up till 1am last night 😁
The sales strategy in the UK seemed quite different from the US. Here it seems the Boutiques are encouraged to pre-sale their stock before the watch is announced. They require a full amount for the deposit, so to me it's like a pre-order than just a priority list. So the Boutiques are the best bet to ensure getting a LE, waiting to get one on-line is a bit risky. But it makes it really hard for those who want to see the watch in person before buying or even knowing what the watch looks like unless seeing a leaked image.

Showing out of stock on the US website.
Same in continental Europe...

Demonstration unit to be seen in local boutique tomorrow. But if I'm being honest, my heart has already sunk... 🙁

Per @Jemagloh's request, I'll create a list once we have more people who've actually received their watches

My apologies, @Mspeedster! My humor about the CAW211P list as well as your amazing memory gained traction. 😁

That being said, if you do generate a list, thanks in advance!

No problem at all.

As I said earlier, I already had a mental list in my head. That included @paysdoufs as a potential buyer, who now seems on the fence and frustrated by lack of availability. That's why I don't want to jump the gun until people actually get their watches.

How about a forum-wide WRUW bomb of the new Carrera once we all have them? Maybe Saturday

Showing out of stock on the US website.

However, one hour after my previous post, the US website is showing that you can "Add to Cart" (in case anyone is interested).

In dim light it’s rather nice
That's almost like saying one would rather have sex in the dark than with the lights on. LOL

It’s honestly a bit as if they released two different watches today… I admire the courage and spontaneity of must of you guys, but I find it impossible to commit w/o seeing that thing in the flesh:

Order on the website. You have 14 days to change your mind and return (UK distance selling regulation, may vary in other countries obviously).

Also, isn't this exactly the sort of difference you see on the 160th silver Carrera depending on the light? This new one may be slight different, but not very.

Here you go, from my Instagram. Same watch, different lighting. Same effect as shown in your examples.

It might well be… I just feel that the end result is a bit different with a panda vs. a monochrome layout.

I'm happy to start off the List.
I'm in Melbourne Australia
I got No 237 & 238
Allocation to Australia was 27 Pieces I believe.

Nice that you got sequential numbers. So you probably said already, but why did you get two? One to wear and one to keep? Not judging (unless you bought it to flip 😁), just genuinely interested, as I would personally feel that the money spent on the second could go towards another watch (like one of the other glassboxes). On the other hand, maybe you feel this is your perfect watch?

I got the Second one for a very valued member of this Forum that wouldn't get one in his country.
I would never buy one to flip. I absolutely hate that practice.

Congrats, happy for all who have been holding out for this one to finally get it.

I'll wait with posting my new arrival so I don't steal your thunder.
