I don't think the bezel in the 42 model is 'virtual'. It's just underneath the curved glass (numbers will be visible when the display is off).

42mm version is great.

What I don't like of the 42 is how much the crown is protruding.

I was waiting the release of the Gen 4 to choose between this model and the Garmin Epix 2 Sapphire . After seeing the irrelevant news regarding my Gen 3, I have decided to buy the garmin and wait the Gen 5.

Yes for the 45mm
42mm is a different lug width.

Has a Microphone but no speaker for calls.
No LTE as yet which is a bit Disappointing

Pretty underwhelming in terms of new features, but I'm happy that the straps will be interchangeable between G3 and G4. Interesting that it appears that TH removed all the G3 straps for the time being.
