I can’t help but notice that in several pictures of the Heuer Monaco Titan from afar particularly when Max is wearing the watch, I can see a very similar semblance of the Heuer Monaco CAW211B (Vintage Grey) with it 😉
Aside from the orange and radial markers, to my eyes the Titan resembles the CAW211C a lot more, especially from afar. If I wanted a Silver Panda Monaco, the "C" is way more affordable than the Titan. I could purchase the Titan's strap as an add on and call it a day.

OTOH, now that Max has won Monaco with this watch, and if he goes on to win the WC, then perhaps only a Titan will do!

Still available on the UK website.... maybe the buzz isn't as strong with this one, or maybe too many people blew their budget on the green one?

I'm not surprised. Without it being the official 50 years Le Mans movie edition or the official Max Monaco GP edition, its just another 500 pieces SE (or LE). SE/LE fatigue is probably setting in. The green Monaco & Carrera were both recently released, the Dato not too long before that, and now the Titan comes along but is the most expensive one yet.

Yes I think there might have been too much of the good stuff lately, not many able to buy all the good stuff of late. Plus as you mention Michael, this one is the most expensive of the bunch which probably doesn't help.

At the end of the day, there are only a few hardcore people who are willing to spend that much on a TAG. They're in a higher price bracket than TAG's normal offerings and that's competing with some seriously good watches from other brands.

Yes, I think that’s hit the mail on the head. If this had been priced a grand cheaper, it might be more popular.

for all that, I do think it’s an extremely good looking watch.

It is showing as out of stock on the US website. But I think some Boutiques might still have them.

Yes, don't get me wrong, it's a great watch. But it's a Cal 11 for exactly the same price as a Zenith El Primero or an entry-level JLC.

Wow, Hubert's trust fund is taking a real beating!
You got that right! And this pic doesn't show the 844 "Monin" Acquaracer (to be delivered in SEP) and the green Monaco. 🤦

The strap looks really nice and matt on the Monaco. That teal Carerra looks awesome behind it too!

Nice pic by @revolutionmxl

The lighting is more playful with the dial on this one 😉
It’s probably a mix of CAW211B and CAW211C for this Titan Monaco winner 👍

I always liked the CAW211B and came very close to buying one early last year. Not on my radar now given my relatively recent vintage grey Monaco but whenever they come up I'm always tempted. Hardly any ever for sale but now there's a good one on a Dutch thrift site. Full set, no fixed price. The metal pointy subdial hands bug me. These should have been white and straight (I realize how that sounds 😉)
