I always liked the CAW211B and came very close to buying one early last year. Not on my radar now given my relatively recent vintage grey Monaco but whenever they come up I'm always tempted. Hardly any ever for sale but now there's a good one on a Dutch thrift site. Full set, no fixed price. The metal pointy subdial hands bug me. These should have been white and straight (I realize how that sounds 😉)

Took me a while to pull the trigger on this one but if you will remember, this CAW211B Vintage Grey Monaco was release in 2010, and was part of the 150th Year Anniversary of Heuer/TAG Heuer (together with the Heuer Silverstone Re Edition) 👍 It still looks very contemporary to me. Some design truly leaps the boundaries of time 😉 It’s been a decade ever since and how quick time flies 😀

Same here, I wonder how hard it would be to get TAG to sell you a pair of white subdial hands from another model.

I'd already own one of these if they were proper white subdial hands!

Get the Bamford department to replace them?

I heard Hubert sends his watches to Bamford to have the straps changed....

ADs should be able to order parts. Easy change for any watchmaker.

That sounds so working class, don't think Adam and Hubert will appreciate this madness.

So what can I say about the Titan. Its been on my mind non stop since this weekend. My heart and soul is longing for one.

Just to put the price tag into perspective, here are some other really nice things you can buy for the price of the Titan:

IWC Portugieser 40 (and £1000 leftover in pocket change)

A lot of times they won't though, at least for other companies.

Same price in the US ($7,900), before AD discount (doubtful on the TAG?)

The Monaco is cooler but I'm fairly certain I'd actually wear the 385 more.

Or stretch the budget another $500, and get one on a famous bracelet design. ($8,400 in the US) No discount on this one though, as it's boutique-only.

Or you could get one of these large bois, $7,450 on bracelet (before AD discount).

Huge watches at 44mm but I was surprised that not only does it feel smaller on the wrist (wide bezel probably) but it also isn't nearly as heavy as you would expect.

And that's not even to mention the new display-back Speedmaster Professional, at $7,150 before discounts. Not really a statement watch like the Monaco or these so I didn't fully include it in arguments but still.

Another box with no "Le Mans Limited Edition". Is this watch a Le Mans Edition or not? Waiting on @Calibre11's update.
My Boutique contact told me this is not a Le Mans edition. Also said they were sent the wrong box. Not sure what to make of this. 😵‍💫

But if the "Le Mans" boxes were in fact a mix up, my Spidey sense is tingling! Could there be a very limited number of special "Le Mans" Titans coming in August around the time of the Le Mans 24 race? Or maybe a different Le Mans Monaco to celebrate 50 years of the movie?
