·Two things from your article. You mention that TH calls this a "rubber look" alligator strap, what's up with that? I want my alligator to look like alligator, not rubber. But the strap does look nice.
The second point is how this watch is the panda version equivalent to the 10s Monaco 50's reverse panda, how right you are! I was thinking exactly the same thing based on the rumors I'd been hearing.
Overall this is a nice looking Monaco. But I really need to see live pics to assess whether I merely "like" it vs. really "love" it.

·I'm not a Monaco person, but this is definitely one of the nicer ones. If I was in the market for a Monaco, then I think this would be third on my list, behind the classic blue McQueen and the 1970s green Côtes de Genève dial.

Red on the 12 o'clock marker is no big deal and nothing new. Lots of Monacos have them, including the C11 Blue McQueen, 90's Monaco 50 & 10's Monaco 50.
