Yes, I agree. Some variability depending on viewing angle and lighting but gorgeous nonetheless. Local pricing is $9,650 compared to $9,200 for the 'standard' blue dial.
Nice write up. But I don't understand why you changed the strap to not mark the original alligator. You never needed to do that before with other watches, did you?
You’re right- this time the buckle still had the blue plastic and I wasn’t sure that I should take it off and thread the strap through the clasp, so I just changed the strap and wore the watch.
After the disappointment of the last two green dial Aquaracers this is a definite step in the right direction. COCO members stand by your beds!
Possibly a hedge against it not being that popular. The blue dial is always going to sell, year after year. A green dial might be a passing fad so why risk producing more than they can sell. An LE creates FOMO and they get to jack the price up a bit.
I wish TAG would stop making these stunning watches LEs. Who can afford to keep buying on the spur of the moment?
Will be expensive month for Hubert, didnt he just buy the Dato Carrera and I hear the next limited Monaco in titanium will be released in May. Probably around Monaco grand prix?
I've noticed you only buy left side crown "Heuer" branded Monaco watches. I think you need a H02 "TAG Heuer" Monaco in your collection.
He also bought the Aquaracer 844 homage too. He ain't the "King" for nothing, but @Snowy is a pretty strong challenger for the throne.
True that! Speaking of the 844. Anyone else excited to see the 844 tribute out in the wild? I think it will be awesome and cant wait to see them pop up on instagram
