I decided to try an H02 Monaco on today as was unsure about the size for me. I bloody loved it.

yes it’s a big watch - but it’s supposed to be and it’s quite flashy also. Certainly not for the feint hearted. Like nothing else I’ve worn, but in a good way. The lug to lug is compact and if I’m honest it would be odd if it was 11mm thick.

I tried the bracelet version on too. Didn’t like it much. It felt much better on a strap - the alligator was very nice and supple.

Mines due on 7th May. Looking forward to it now.

I agree the Monaco BELONGS on a strap. I know the originals were available on a bracelet, too, but the fact that the case is so big and chunky just feels really nicely balanced having a nice leather strap. The bracelet just comes across as "too much" in my opinion.

The new bracelet is certainly too much. The original bracelets were much more refined.

We'll see if it sells, though. These days the loser watch flippers will go after anything they think they can jack up, but with something like this they'll probably end up losing money.

Love seeing the Zenith 384 Shadows listed for $12k sitting and sitting there... or the IWC 3705 Tributes that were 30% overpriced at MSRP and nobody wants them for even more than that. LOL

It does come with a TH box, but not the one designed for this Limited Edition . I received an email from TH saying that the boxes were behind schedule so they shipped it in a general TAG Heuer box and will send the specific box later...

I notice the croc (alligator?) strap is a little different design compared to the typical TH croc strap, it's flatter and seems less padded.

They probably should have made this a general release or a 3000 piece special edition or something. Complements the standard line-up nicely.
All for the flatter strap, never like those fat ones.

I agree that they should have opened the release wider on this. Particularly with the amount of people that missed out on 50th anniversary editions etc. They will end alienating their wider customer base is every time something great comes along, it was pre-sold before you even knew about it.

what I have not seen anywhere on the watch is the limited edition numbering, for example, "one of 500" or 0-500 pieces
