After seeing the watch in person, it might be a contender for purchase. But I'm still waiting until I see more of TH's 2021 releases.
I think it's one of those watches that has to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. I was lukewarm at best after seeing the launch photos, but in person the watch has a "presence" about it. Its size is still larger than I'd like, but it doesn't feel larger than my 43mm F1, even though it is.
Fixed your post. The other obvious question, do you have a Porsche?
Fixed my post?
I am a former and future 911 owner. It’s only a matter of time until I have another in my garage.
Very nice @robmick.
Given that this is your first TAG Heuer, I was anticipating that your connection to this model must be coming from as a past, current, or future Porsche owner. That's why I asked. This is exactly why these partnerships are valuable, as they bring new clientele to the brand.
You should definitely share some pics of your old Porsche in our Garage sub-forum. Glad to have you on board. You'll love it here. 😀

I noticed that watch along with all of Porsche's media blitz on their new GT3. But it's a hard pass from me. I don't mind spending $500 on a quartz Porsche Design watch (like my Martini Racing), but for $8000, there's a lot of other watches I'd consider over this one.

If you look at most PD watches, they really all look the same.. save from different color highlights here and there. This is a definite pass for me. I like the TAG Heuer Carrera Porsche Chronograph alot more 😎
Yeah, different colors presented here and there. But this is an article I saw that held my interest for a bit. Until I realized I still don't own a Porsche and it might not make much sense, for me at least...
I'm loving that rotor tho!
