I have a fellow watch collector that is looking to sell a couple of Carrera special editions. Both come with box and papers, purchased from the Las Vegas AD. He’s looking to break even on both. The Porsche is very tempting, but not at that asking price. Good to know he's just looking to break even. His asking prices are higher than retail, especially the Porsche. But I guess one can always make an offer.

 

The “break even” are the key words. That would be a great offer

 

The problem for me is even at retail it's very hard to justify compared to the price of a normal Elegant or even the WOS. I was offered one new by my Boutique and passed for that reason. I really like the Porsche RS watch, it is so tempting, but I guess I'll have to wait a few years and see if the prices come down.

Given what most are asking for on C24, getting one around retail price should be a good deal for most. GLWS!
