I assume there's some practical reason for the lume colours to be different? Because aesthetically it just makes the watch look like it's come off a backyard workshop where quality control is of the 'who f*****n' cares' variety.

Feels smaller than the others with the black case obviously. On the rubber strap it also has a light feeling, though it isn't titanium.
++ The horizontal-lined dial works much better in a matte finish, like this one, rather than a polished finish as on the standard Aquaracer.

You don't notice it as much on the Night Diver, but I also agree that the date cyclops detracts far more from the design than it adds in functionality.
I think come a couple years I may try to transplant the 844 dial into a Night Diver case... now that would be extra cool
I don't know if it's added on or molded in somehow, but I'd love to see what the options are...
Didn't we get confirmation somewhere that it is now molded inside the actual crystal, meaning it wont be a possibility to just remove it like before
Normally cyclopses are stuck on and if you heat up the glass, you can ping it off with the tip of a scalpel. I haven’t been brave enough to try it yet
This is sapphire though unlike the old plexiglas crystals that you could just sand 'em off of. Not sure it'd be that easy

On sapphire its normally a lump of crystal that has been glued on with a thermal glue, heating it up softens the bond, then you stick something pointy in there and it unsticks. For example:
