Pretty sure you just buy a new watch when warranty expires and the crown tube breaks 馃憤

Is the crown tube failure a common issue? I know it used to happen on the 1000, but not heard of it on the AR

Really? To me it seems to be standard issue, normally happens when the watch is around 26-30 months old. But of course only the people who are unhappy go online to complain so hopefully the majority never see these issues 馃憤

I thought movement failures were far more common on the calibre 5? There鈥檚 been 3-4 on here complaining of calibre 5 turning the rotor when winding manually, don鈥檛 think anyone has complained of crown tube issues

Are we edging our bets the 40mm no date versions will be just that? Minus the date comp and smaller current Aquaracers?

Depending on price these would be on my horizons - sub 40mm dive watches no date!

I heard..... you may have to wait until next year for them. But that could be wrong.

I have heard some will be no-date, but that mainly these will also feature aluminum bezel inserts instead of ceramic. I'm thinking these could end up being the classic choice to the 43's newer, brasher style.

I haven't heard anything that suggests these will be quartz, but I suppose it's possible

So much constant praise for the new Aquaracers. I guess if I watch enough videos I will learn to love them too.

It has endearing qualities - after trying it on, I want to like it more than I actually did.
