Went and tried on a couple of the steel models today. They're pretty nice, the cyclops isn't as jarring in person but still noticeable. Very nice bezel action compared to the previous model, and the dials feel nicely refined. I think the size is pretty nice, the octagonal shape means that the 43 doesn't wear super super large. Still, looking forward to the rumored 40mm no-date model.
Someone’s after an event invite 😉

Joking aside, it’s good to hear. Looking forward to experiencing them for real myself.
The bezel actions on the previous versions are a little “springy” to operate - ie they can be visibly pushed down onto the watch - hoping this is an improvement.

I don't wanna be a Debbie Downer, but those pictures are awful.

Nobody ever accused me of being a good photographer 🙄 AD lighting + rushed shots. I was there for a quick sec and wasn't really paying close enough attention to the shots

Interesting, I didn't notice that. But, the previous bezels were a bit plasticky-feeling, and had a cheap-feeling rotating action. The new ones feel much more tactile, refined and solid, without being difficult to turn.

Sorry, yes it's true that boutique lighting is generally awful for taking photos, but even so...

There seems to be some united ad campaign of the green Bamford today, multiple sites posting videos of it

This is because the Aquaracer actually hits the stores this week

I like these two very much, as well as the ref. 844 homage limited edition. I could hardly decide, which one be my favourite of the three.
Definitely the 844 for me. Could happily see myself rocking that one!

I hadn’t realised how much thinner the bracelet is on the new one, wonder if that would go onto the old model. Interesting how they’ve trimmed it down to make the 43 wear a bit smaller, to make a big watch more accessible maybe?

Yes huge difference on the bracelet. Doubt it will fit the old model though?

Isn't it amazing, they make 14 changes to the watch and Time and Tide like every single one, not even a glimmer of doubt about anything, not even 'I kinda like the old hands' better... no, every single thing they've changed is an improvement in every way. 100% better. Yes siree... and we're totally not biased about that at all. Honest.

I like the old hands a bit better

(I think the little skinny attachment at the post is a bit weird, otherwise they're fine - the old hands brought that off better)

How do you remove the case back?
Pretty sure you just buy a new watch when warranty expires and the crown tube breaks 👍
