I'm really hoping for a Heuer 02 based successor to the CAW211P as well. 馃榾
The only reason I can see TH not doing it is if for some reason the Heuer 02 can't be made to easily work with a left-side crown. 馃
It could be tricky unless they thought of it during the development phase.
The Calibre 11/12 is easy because they are modular and they just rotated the base, time-only movement by 180 degrees before attaching the chronograph module.

I don't see why they would. If it's this thick and with a rounded crystal, what's the point anyway. The CAW211p is the nicer Monaco and that one is already thick. We don't need the H02 in every watch.
I popped into a local Goldsmiths who mainly deal in TH, I asked about this new watch but the staff knew nothing about it, I had to pick it out of the 2020 book in the shop to make them aware, offered to order it in if I was to pay a deposit. Sales training and product knowledge anyone?
The point is, it will just be odd moving forward to have the right side crown Monaco with the H02 and the left side crown "heritage" Monaco without. In general, many would expect the H02 movement (which is perceived as better) in both versions as the line moves on into the future.

Do we believe that? I'm not so sure. They make no mention of reconfiguring it for a left hand crown and I don't believe for a second TAG Heuer are going to give up on the left hand winder. If they'd have said all TAG Heuer branded Monacos, then that I would believe. I mean think about it, the whole 'Calibre 11' thing is such a defining characteristic of the Heuer Monaco that it even transcends that fact that it's actually a Sellita 300... I think it would be harder to sell a reworked Heuer02 as a Calibre 11 than the Sellita, especially if you have two Monacos with display backs and you're trying to convince the buyer that this one is a Heuer 02 and this one is a Calibre 11 even though they look pretty much the same.
Well with all the recent attention to the Monoco line, it seams that there has been a Monoco for everyone albeit limited in numbers. The CAW211A/P layout speaks to me. If I were to go avant-garde, the next one for me would be a rare metal with in-house movement, possibly tourbillon if that ever happens. I鈥檒l have a spot in my account for such a time piece.
This being a H02 Monoco thread, I like the idea of its existence and think it鈥檚 well executed. Sure to be a collectible. Does anyone have pics of the presentation box?
