Makes me wonder if they’ll release a non-LE version in the future if the reception to this one is good... also makes me wonder what that might do to the collectability of the ‘169’ version. At least with the 70z version you know they won’t just replicate that dial again!

Exactly what I was thinking, expect a red dial with the normal square sudbdials at some point I reckon...

So... what’s everyone’s thoughts on the 90s piece ? I’ve only seen the el dodgy render that is around on the web - but to me although it is a nice watch it lacks the punch or wow factor of the first two? It is growing on me though so I’d like to hear from other people to see if it’s just me that is a bit on the fence with this one

I think I like it, but, a red(ish) strap would probably make my mind up.

I don't suppose anyone who was lucky enough to secure the 70's edition is now looking to offload it for the 80's edition. I was not fortunate enough to be offered the 70's edition, so if anyone here may be considering selling one to a fellow collector please do get in touch.

Of the 90's / 00's / 10's still to come, think I prefer the 10's so will be trying to secure that one if I can't get hold of a 70's in the mean time!

^ Has it been confirmed if the top center is intended to be a place holder for the future LE?

OK, here is the update:
- The box in the middle of the upper row is a travel box (so you don't have to lug around the 5-watch set for a week away)- there is no sixth LE for buyers of the box set
- The 50 box set watches are included in the total production number of 169, so 119 watches sold individually and 50 sold as part of a set.

I wonder how many of the boxes are gone? Tempting. So many good LEs this year!

then, for example, from 69-70 there are only 119 individual sale pieces, the remaining 50 must buy the pack of 5 pieces. then it is much more exclusive. thanks for the info

Does anyone know how you can buy this book?
Try your local TAG Heuer boutique. I reached-out to TAG Heuer in the US and have not gotten a response.

Last year’s release ‘Ahead of its Time’ wasn’t available anywhere in the US for some reason. I hope this book on Monaco is made available here .

Cheers !

Correct; last year I had ask around to get my copy. In fact, I ended up getting two.

Keep an eye on this thread, more info should become available soon.
